True Anomaly began in 2019, founded by four former NASA colleagues: rocket scientists, spacesuit developers, mission managers. People who spent their careers solving hard problems, and pointed that same focus at beer.
What started as test batches grew into a taproom in Houston's East Downtown. Along the way, we earned back-to-back Texas Craft Brewers Cup Brewery of the Year honors (2023, 2024) and a few World Beer Cup medals: Bronze (2022), Gold (2024), Silver (2024,2025)

Our taproom on Dallas St. has closed, but True Anomaly hasn't.
Houston's independent brewing community takes care of its own. New Magnolia Brewing Co. opened their brewhouse doors so we could keep making our beer, no questions asked. That's who they are, and we're grateful for it.
True Anomaly is still True Anomaly. Our beer, our brand, our name. We're just brewing it somewhere new for now. The lineup you know is still in the works. The mission hasn't changed.
